Un village o\u00f9 vivent des Burkinab\u00e9s, immigr\u00e9s pour certains depuis longtemps, est attaqu\u00e9. Des habitants sont massacr\u00e9s, les survivants sont chass\u00e9s du pays et jet\u00e9s sur les routes. Durant l&rsquo;exode, Biba est s\u00e9par\u00e9e de Zalissa, sa m\u00e8re, et victime de la \u00ab fouille \u00bb pratiqu\u00e9e par les militaires sur les femmes. Zalissa y \u00e9chappe et atteint le Burkina o\u00f9 un camp de r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s a \u00e9t\u00e9 install\u00e9. Sans nouvelles de sa fille, elle prie Zodo, coupeur de route, de retrouver Biba moyennant finances. Quand il la ram\u00e8ne, c&rsquo;est la m\u00e8re qui a disparu. Contrainte de rester dans le camp le temps de sa grossesse (cons\u00e9cutive \u00e0 la \u00ab fouille \u00bb), Biba d\u00e9couvre l&rsquo;affreuse r\u00e9alit\u00e9 des lieux.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">S. Pierre Yam\u00e9ogo d\u00e9nonce la violation des droits de milliers d&rsquo;\u00e9migr\u00e9s burkinab\u00e9s lors de la r\u00e9cente guerre civile ivoirienne. \u00ab Bayiri \u00bb est aussi une critique acerbe adress\u00e9e aux autorit\u00e9s du Burkina pour les mauvais traitements subis par les rapatri\u00e9s. Le film repose sur les t\u00e9moignages de ces derniers et sur l&rsquo;enqu\u00eate r\u00e9alis\u00e9e par le r\u00e9alisateur dans un camp similaire. Plus g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement, il traite de la situation instable des migrants dans nombre de soci\u00e9t\u00e9s, des souffrances des civils en temps de guerre et des conditions d&rsquo;existence dans les camps de r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s, en particulier pour les femmes.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Le r\u00e9alisateur<\/span><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">S.Pierre Yam\u00e9ogo est n\u00e9 en 1958 \u00e0 Koudougou (Burkina Faso). Apr\u00e8s des \u00e9tudes au Conservatoire libre du cin\u00e9ma fran\u00e7ais \u00e0 Paris (1980-1983) et un stage de montage \u00e0 la radio-t\u00e9l\u00e9vision du Burkina Faso en 1982, il obtient une ma\u00eetrise en communication \u00e0 l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 Paris VIII (1987).<br \/>\nIl a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 de nombreux documentaires et courts-m\u00e9trages de fiction.<br \/>\nSon premier long m\u00e9trage, \u00ab Dunia \u00bb, est r\u00e9alis\u00e9 en 1987. Suivront \u00ab Laafi \u00bb(Tout va bien) 1990, \u00ab Wendemi \u00bb (L&rsquo;enfant du Bon Dieu) 1992 (Prix du jury oecum\u00e9nique, section Un Certain Regard Cannes 1993, Prix de l&rsquo;UNICEF, de l&rsquo;ACCT, de la ville de Ouagadougou, mention sp\u00e9ciale du jury au FESPACO 1993), \u00ab Silmand\u00e9 \u00bb(Le tourbillon) 1997 (Prix Procirep, Festival de Namur 1998), \u00ab Moi et mon Blanc \u00bb 2003 (Prix RFI FESPACO 2003), \u00ab Delwende \u00bb(L\u00e8ve-toi et marche) 2005 (Prix de l&rsquo;Espoir, Prix du jury \u0153cum\u00e9nique, section Un Certain Regard Cannes 2005).<br \/>\n\u00ab Bayiri \u00bb, son dernier film sorti en 2011 a \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 en avant-premi\u00e8re en France au Festival Cin\u00e9 Sud en mars 2012.<br \/>\nS.Pierre Yam\u00e9ogo est connu pour son franc-parler et son regard critique sur les contraintes \u00e9conomiques et politiques de la production cin\u00e9matographique africaine.
