Gaylor, pasteur sans-le-sou (comme une majorit\u00e9 des neuf millions d\u2019habitants de Kinshasa) se m\u00e9tamorphose en atalaku, \u00ab\u00a0crieur\u00a0\u00bb en lingala. Il fait affaire avec le d\u00e9put\u00e9 le plus offrant dont il assure la publicit\u00e9 dans la rue et pour qui il d\u00e9niche des musiciens qui composeront la chanson de sa campagne.<br \/>\nAtalaku\u00a0n\u2019aurait sans doute pu \u00eatre tourn\u00e9 par un non-Congolais, tant il semble faire corps avec ceux qu\u2019il filme \u2013 le r\u00e9alisateur est parfois somm\u00e9 de filmer tel bourrage d\u2019urnes, et la foule trop dense s\u2019\u00e9carte \u00e0 son passage, confus\u00e9ment convaincue qu\u2019il faut un t\u00e9moin.<br \/>\nLa construction du film rend compte d\u2019un effet-domino entre l\u2019atalaku et les relais qu\u2019il paie \u00e0 son tour \u2013 musiciens, vendeuses, danseurs&#8230; \u2013, jusqu\u2019au vertige puisque Gaylor, pr\u00eacheur d\u2019un dieu bien \u00e9ph\u00e9m\u00e8re, se voit reprocher son incapacit\u00e9 \u00e0 tenir les promesses des autres.<br \/>\nEn choisissant de continuer \u00e0 tourner deux semaines apr\u00e8s l\u2019\u00e9lection, Hamadi m\u00e9nage un \u00e9pilogue en forme de sortie de l\u2019immersion parfois violente qui fait aussi la force de son film.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Le r\u00e9alisateur<\/span><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">N\u00e9 en 1984 \u00e0 Kisangani (RDC Congo Kinshasa)Dieudo Hamadi a commenc\u00e9 des \u00e9tudes de m\u00e9decine. Il a ensuite suivi des ateliers documentaires pour t\u00e9moigner de la situation de son pays et r\u00e9alis\u00e9 deux moyens m\u00e9trages, Dames en attente (2010) et Tol\u00e9rance z\u00e9ro.
