A la suite de mesures de restriction budg\u00e9taire ordonn\u00e9es par le FMI, il a perdu son emploi de fonctionnaire. Le jour o\u00f9 sa prime de licenciement se tarit, il se voit contraint de vivre aux d\u00e9pens de sa femme Viviane qui entretient la famille gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019activit\u00e9 de son cabinet m\u00e9dical. Il recherche alors par tous les moyens la mani\u00e8re de retrouver sa fiert\u00e9 d\u2019homme qu\u2019il pense avoir perdue. Aminata, leur fille, et Moussa, deux jeunes \u00e9tudiants amoureux l\u2019un de l\u2019autre, voient eux aussi leur vie boulevers\u00e9e par la situation \u00e9conomique impos\u00e9e au pays. Apr\u00e8s une \u00e9ni\u00e8me humiliation, Idrissa, qui tient Dominique Strauss-Kahn pour le responsable de son malheur, d\u00e9cide d\u2019aller voir un marabout afin de pr\u00e9parer sa vengeance\u2026<\/p>\n<p><em>Dent pour dent<\/em> est le premier long m\u00e9trage d\u2019Ottis Ba Mamadou. Dans cette \u00ab\u00a0com\u00e9die sociale politique\u00a0\u00bb, le r\u00e9alisateur s\u00e9n\u00e9galais veut dresser avec humour le portrait d\u2019une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 africaine patriarcale empreinte de machisme mais il veut aussi parler plus largement d\u2019une Afrique en proie aux injustices, soumise aux contraintes du franc CFA et du FMI.\u00a0\u00ab\u00a0La relation hommes-femmes, la situation \u00e9conomique, les enfants de la rue, l\u2019immigration, l\u2019\u00e9ducation sont des sujets qui forment la soci\u00e9t\u00e9\u2026 et j\u2019ai mis en sc\u00e8ne des situations que traverse chaque g\u00e9n\u00e9ration. Le film est l\u00e0 pour \u00e9veiller les consciences et apr\u00e8s, on cherche des solutions, mais on ne les trouve pas toujours. C\u2019est ce qui m\u2019int\u00e9ressait dans ce travail.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Le r\u00e9alisateur <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Mamadou Ottis Ba, n\u00e9 \u00e0 Dakar, vit \u00e0 Paris depuis l&rsquo;\u00e2ge de 15 ans. D\u00e9veloppant une passion pour le th\u00e9\u00e2tre, il a fr\u00e9quent\u00e9 une \u00e9cole d\u2019art dramatique et particip\u00e9 quelques ann\u00e9es plus tard \u00e0 la repr\u00e9sentation de Ruy Blas \u00e0 la Com\u00e9die fran\u00e7aise. Il auditionne ensuite pour A Midsummer Night&rsquo;s Dream de Shakespeare, r\u00e9alis\u00e9 par Krzysztof Warlikowski, un disciple de Peter Brook et joue un r\u00f4le de femme selon les codes du th\u00e9\u00e2tre \u00e9lisab\u00e9thain. \u00c0 cette \u00e9poque, il commence \u00e0 s&rsquo;aventurer dans le cin\u00e9ma, d&rsquo;abord en tant qu&rsquo;acteur, puis en tant que r\u00e9alisateur. Il s&rsquo;entra\u00eene \u00e0 La F\u00e9mis pour un stage d&rsquo;\u00e9t\u00e9 et r\u00e9alise quelques courts m\u00e9trages \u00e0 petit budget, dont un avec l&rsquo;actrice fran\u00e7aise A\u00efssa Ma\u00efga.<br \/>En 2011, Ottis Ba fait ses d\u00e9buts en tant que r\u00e9alisateur avec Une histoire vraie, suivie en 2013 d\u2019un nouveau court m\u00e9trage, Le r\u00eave d&rsquo;Amadou.
