V\u00e9ritable immersion dans un univers musical, festif, dansant typique et 100% f\u00e9minin qu\u2019est le \u00abA\u00efta\u00bb, l\u2019histoire nous fait p\u00e9n\u00e9trer dans le quotidien des \u00abchikhat\u00bb, v\u00e9ritables gardiennes d\u2019un art ancestral. Leur chant est aux prises avec les difficult\u00e9s de l\u2019\u00e9poque, mais perdure toujours, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la sauvegarde de cette pratique musicale, de nos jours revisit\u00e9e, fusionn\u00e9e avec d\u2019autres sonorit\u00e9s modernes, mais toujours valoris\u00e9e. <br \/>En 1994,\u00a0 Fatine, jeune fille de 17 ans, vit avec sa m\u00e8re Nadia, chikha (chanteuse et danseuse) de profession, et son grand-p\u00e8re Hamid, \u00e0 Azemmour, au Maroc.<br \/>Bac en poche, Fatine est tiraill\u00e9e entre deux voix oppos\u00e9es : perp\u00e9tuer la tradition artistique familiale, ou mener une vie rang\u00e9e avec son amoureux Youssef, qui d\u00e9nigre son h\u00e9ritage artistique sulfureux.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Les r\u00e9alisateur \/trice<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Le couple artistique Zahoua Raji et Ayoub Layoussifi a puis\u00e9 dans ses racines marocaines pour faire vivre \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cran cet art de la danse et du chant, consid\u00e9r\u00e9 parfois par certains comme sulfureux.<\/p>\n<p>N\u00e9 en 1983 \u00e0 Casablanca au Maroc<strong>, Ayoub Layoussifi<\/strong> aime parler de sujets r\u00e9els et forts qui peuvent toucher un large public. Acteur et r\u00e9alisateur, il se forme \u00e0 l\u2019Actors Studio \u00e0 Paris (Atelier de la m\u00e9thode, Jo\u00ebl Bui) et d\u00e9croche un Master Pro. \u00e0 l\u2019universit\u00e9 Paris 8 Vincennes-Saint-Denis en R\u00e9alisation et Cr\u00e9ation.Du documentaire \u00e0 la fiction, il fait ses armes entre la France et le Maroc en tant que sc\u00e9nariste, acteur et\/ou r\u00e9alisateur. Apr\u00e8s plusieurs premiers r\u00f4les dans des courts-m\u00e9trages, t\u00e9l\u00e9films, s\u00e9ries TV, et long-m\u00e9trages tel Les griffes du pass\u00e9 de Abdelkrim Derkaoui (2015), il se distingue \u00e0 l\u2019international en donnant la r\u00e9plique \u00e0 Nicole Kidman dans Queen of the Desert de Werner Herzog (2015), ou bien 13 hours de Michael Bay (2016). En 2017, il signe la r\u00e9alisation de TIKITAT-A-SOULIMA, court-m\u00e9trage de fiction ayant obtenu la contribution financi\u00e8re du CNC en 2014 et s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9 au festival du court-m\u00e9trage de Clermont-Ferrand 2017 dans la SECTION \u00ab Regards d\u2019Afrique \u00bb <br \/>Ayoub Layoussifi travaille actuellement \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9criture de son premier long-m\u00e9trage, MEKTOUB. Le sc\u00e9nario est co-\u00e9crit avec David Azoulay.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Zahoua Raji<\/strong>, n\u00e9e \u00e0 Bruxelles de parents immigrants marocains, apporte son savoir en maquillage, conception de costumes, photographie et beaux-arts. Sa fascination pour les chikhates marocains l\u2019a amen\u00e9e \u00e0 mener des interviews et des recherches approfondies qui ont inspir\u00e9 l\u2019histoire de Fatine. D\u00e9sormais bas\u00e9 \u00e0 Paris, Raji a co-\u00e9crit Chikha avec Ayoub Layoussifi et Yamina Zarou.de son c\u00f4t\u00e9, trouve une affinit\u00e9 dans le cin\u00e9ma social de Ken Loach, o\u00f9 l\u2019authenticit\u00e9 flirte avec le documentaire.
